There’s nothing like a tragedy to stir up the morons.
They blather out stupidity under the guise of pros and cons.
Why must only the fringe have a voice in the debate?
When will common sense appear? Is it too late?
Is it possible to find a place where the left meets the
right,
When both sides feed on dread, doom, and fright?
We will solve our problems only when the talking heads,
Lower their tone, see the common good, and compromise
instead.

Nice John. I liked that a lot. My response would be that only the polar ends get any attention because they stir up the most emotions and sell the news. Is it the talking heads that are the problem? Or are they a reflection of a society that consumes hate and vitriol like breathing air? One of the downfalls of capitalism is that you have to sell news. But it still beats the hell out of state-run media.
